Rishith Kamishetty enhanced device data querying in the ohcnetwork/care repository by developing targeted filtering capabilities for device records. He implemented two new filters—current_location and registered_name—within the DeviceFilters class, enabling users to retrieve device information based on geographic location and device name. This work, completed using Python and Django, focused on backend and API development to support more precise data access for dashboards and analytics pipelines. Rishith maintained a clean, extensible design that aligned with the existing filtering framework, delivering a focused feature that improves operational visibility and analytics readiness without introducing unnecessary complexity or scope.
