Worked on enhancing probe discovery and reliability in the bpftrace/bpftrace repository by developing the Probe Matcher: List Self Probes feature. This addition enabled users to retrieve specific self probes based on input, streamlining the process of signal probe identification. The implementation involved C++ development, software debugging, and unit testing to ensure accurate and reliable probe listing. Addressed a bug affecting self probe retrieval, which improved the usability and maintainability of the probe matcher. These changes contributed to faster diagnostics and reduced debugging time, strengthening the overall tracing workflow and making probe discovery more efficient for users of bpftrace/bpftrace.
