Worked on the neovim/neovim repository to enhance the safety and reliability of tutor file editing workflows. Developed a feature that opens a temporary copy of the tutor file for editing, preventing corruption of the original file and ensuring data integrity throughout the editing process. Adapted metadata loading to resolve JSON from the temporary file path, consolidating logic within TutorCmd and reducing dependencies on fragile buffer path handling. Utilized VimL and Vim scripting skills, with a focus on debugging and software development best practices. The work resulted in a more robust, user-friendly tutor experience with minimal disruption to existing workflows.
