Worked on the tailscale/tailscale repository to implement support for OpenSUSE Slowroll in the installer script, enabling the script to recognize and handle this OpenSUSE Tumbleweed derivative for package management. Used shell scripting and Linux package management expertise to enhance the installer’s compatibility, reducing the need for manual configuration during deployment on OpenSUSE Slowroll systems. The work involved validating the installer flow to ensure reliable onboarding and aligning with cross-distribution packaging goals. Delivered the feature as a single, traceable commit, demonstrating a Git-driven workflow and attention to maintainability. No bugs were fixed during this period, focusing solely on new feature development.
