Worked on the moltbot/moltbot repository to improve the reliability of Slack thread reply handling by addressing a bug that previously misclassified certain messages as thread replies. Focused on backend and frontend development using TypeScript and JavaScript, the work involved removing a backward-compatibility fallback that could incorrectly treat non-user messages as thread replies. Enhanced test coverage was added to verify correct behavior in genuine thread scenarios, ensuring the isThreadReply function operates as intended. Additionally, the codebase was cleaned up by removing outdated issue references, contributing to better maintainability and clarity for future development and ongoing Slack integration improvements.
