Kapdroid focused on enhancing monetary value presentation in the FieldAssist/fa_flutter_ui_kit repository by addressing a critical bug related to currency formatting. Using Dart and Flutter, Kapdroid refactored utility functions to centralize the logic for removing unnecessary trailing zeros, ensuring that decimal digit calculations accurately reflected intended precision. This technical approach improved the consistency and clarity of financial data across UI components, reducing the risk of misinterpretation in dashboards and reports. The work demonstrated attention to maintainability and scalability, as the updated currency-utils now supports clearer, more reliable data presentation for future financial reporting and user-facing features within the platform.
