Worked on the expo/eas-build repository to enhance iOS build reliability by introducing Pod Install Deployment Mode, an opt-in feature that enables the --deployment flag for CocoaPods installation through an environment variable. This approach improved error messaging during the pod install phase, making diagnostics and troubleshooting more efficient for iOS projects. By enforcing stricter pod installation constraints without requiring custom scripts or configuration drift, the work reduced build failures and streamlined CI/CD processes. Leveraged skills in build tools, CI/CD, and iOS development, with TypeScript as a primary language, to lay the foundation for broader adoption across related repositories and workflows.
