Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-mgmt repository to improve test reliability and network state convergence by addressing two critical bugs in network automation workflows. Focused on Python scripting and network programming, the developer resolved an edge case involving PortChannel999 by implementing an admin-down sequence and introducing a convergence delay, ensuring safe IP removal and proper BGP session teardown. Additionally, they eliminated MAC address collisions in FDB tests by updating static MACs, which reduced test flakiness and improved CI stability. These changes enhanced LAG and BGP stability across testbeds, demonstrating depth in network testing, test automation, and SONiC tooling expertise.
