Worked on the owncloud/web repository to enhance UI testing by migrating application menu tests from Cucumber to Playwright, focusing on improving test performance and maintainability. Leveraged TypeScript and Playwright to implement end-to-end test cases covering user interactions such as opening, editing, saving, and closing within the application menu and text editor. This migration expanded test coverage and reduced CI flakiness, enabling faster and more reliable feedback for UI changes. The approach established a reusable pattern for future test automation, strengthening continuous integration confidence and supporting ongoing development with robust, maintainable UI and API testing practices throughout the project.
