
Worked on the openmrs/openmrs-core repository to deliver two core features aimed at improving caching reliability and application startup stability. Developed a dynamic cache.stack property and integrated multi-transport protocol support, allowing the caching system to flexibly select between TCP, UDP, and TUNNEL transports based on configuration. Enhanced CacheConfig to align with JChannel settings, optimizing cache performance across varied network environments. Additionally, improved startup reliability by introducing a shell script wait mechanism and readiness check to ensure Elasticsearch is fully initialized before application launch. Utilized Java, Shell scripting, and Spring Framework to address deployment reliability and backend system resilience.
