Developed Dell BIOS Configuration Job Orchestration for the NVIDIA/libredfish repository, enabling reliable sequencing of BIOS changes and boot order configuration. Leveraging Rust for backend development, the solution tracked Dell BIOS task IDs within machine setup, ensuring BIOS updates completed before proceeding and introducing up to three retries for job failures. For non-Dell systems, the process reverted to a standard reboot and boot order update. The implementation included asynchronous programming techniques and robust error handling, along with expanded unit test coverage such as test_bios_config_job_happy_path to validate the workflow. Security improvements addressed BMC lockdown states prior to BIOS patch operations.
