During the month, Keitwb delivered a targeted feature for the RedHatInsights/insights-ingress-go repository by enabling ingestion and processing of Assisted Installer Chat Bot data. This work involved extending the INGRESS_VALID_UPLOAD_TYPES within the clowdapp.yaml configuration, allowing the system to accept a new upload type and thereby broadening analytics coverage and automation telemetry. Keitwb utilized YAML for configuration management and applied DevOps practices to ensure seamless integration with existing ingestion paths. The implementation was low risk, required no bug fixes, and demonstrated a focused approach to Go-based ingestion extension, resulting in more complete observability and faster analytics readiness for the platform.
