Kelian Saint Bonnet enhanced the aquasecurity/trivy repository by developing a configurable SSL certificate directory within the Trivy Helm Chart. Leveraging DevOps practices and expertise in Kubernetes and Helm, Kelian introduced the sslCertDir parameter, allowing users to specify custom SSL certificate locations during deployment. This addition addressed the need for greater deployment flexibility in diverse SSL environments, enabling more secure and adaptable configurations. The work was implemented using YAML and integrated seamlessly into the existing Helm chart structure. Over the course of the month, Kelian focused on this targeted feature, delivering a well-scoped, traceable improvement without addressing bug fixes.
