During August 2025, Kellis developed an automated visual regression baseline management workflow for the ScottLogic/blog repository. Leveraging GitHub Actions and Playwright, Kellis engineered a cross-platform solution that generates and updates baseline screenshots on both Windows and Linux environments with a single trigger. This approach streamlined the maintenance of visual regression tests, reducing manual intervention and minimizing baseline drift when underlying data or libraries changed. By integrating automation and version-controlled visual artifacts using YAML and Markdown, Kellis improved the reliability and speed of CI/CD pipelines. The work enhanced traceability and maintainability, resulting in faster release readiness and more stable UI testing.
