Applied Go and AWS SDK expertise to implement logic that distinguishes warm pool instances, ensuring only active instances influence scaling decisions. Integrated comprehensive unit and integration tests to validate the new filtering mechanism and prevent future regressions. This backend development effort stabilized scaling behavior by reducing false readiness signals, resulting in more reliable autoscaling. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to plugin architecture, test-driven development, and seamless integration within the existing Go-based codebase.
