Worked on the mariadb-columnstore-engine repository, focusing on improving data integrity and deployment processes. Addressed a critical issue in the MariaDB ColumnStore MySQL handler by updating the logic to track inserted rows using rows_stats.inserted, which enhanced the accuracy and consistency of insert operations. Additionally, updated the CI/CD Drone configuration to include the 11.8-enterprise server in the extra_servers list for the current branch, ensuring comprehensive build and deployment coverage. Utilized C++, MariaDB, and MySQL to implement these changes, contributing to more reliable data handling and streamlined release cycles within the database engine’s development workflow.
