Kevin focused on expanding accessibility for Chinese-speaking users by delivering Traditional Chinese localization across two repositories, reocat/OuterTune and mostafaalagamy/Metrolist. He implemented UI translation support in OuterTune and completed 99.2% of the Traditional Chinese translation for Metrolist, both using a structured Weblate-based workflow. His work involved managing language resources and translation strings in Python and XML, ensuring traceability and repeatability for future localization efforts. By standardizing the localization process, Kevin reduced the backlog and enabled a more efficient translation pipeline, directly supporting internationalization and localization goals while increasing the potential market reach of both projects.
