Worked on the vtex/shoreline repository to deliver a feature enhancing stacked components by refactoring their spacing approach. Transitioned from margin-based to gap-based spacing in the sunrise theme for both row and column layouts, simplifying the CSS and ensuring consistent visual alignment. Addressed and resolved CSS issues that previously caused spacing inconsistencies across different layouts. Developed and added a depth.stories.tsx file to Storybook, providing visual examples and comprehensive developer-facing documentation for the stacked stack component. Utilized CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to implement these changes, focusing on maintainable front-end development and clear component storytelling for improved developer experience.
