Worked on the portworx/helm and portworx/px-backup-api repositories, focusing on release engineering and API enhancements. Developed a unified Go-based pre-install and pre-upgrade hook for Helm charts, introducing version-aware validation and upgrade safety checks to streamline on-prem PX backup integration and reduce operational risk. Improved release metadata accuracy by updating tarballs, URLs, and index artifacts, and migrated critical tooling from Python to Go for better maintainability. Enhanced the px-backup-api by adding granular filters and a new POST endpoint for organization-scoped backup enumeration, leveraging Go, Protocol Buffers, and gRPC to improve data discoverability and multi-tenant backup management workflows.
