During March 2025, Uep6 contributed to the CDCgov/cfa-epinow2-pipeline repository by enhancing both logging and documentation workflows. They reactivated verbose logging within the EpiNow2 fit_model function, enabling debug-level output to improve sampler progress visibility for R-based epidemiological modeling. Uep6 also updated the project’s NEWS.md to document these changes for future traceability. In addition, they revised the standard operating procedure (SOP) by integrating a Mermaid workflow diagram, clarifying steps for configuration, deployment, and data management. Their work demonstrated depth in technical writing, R programming, and Markdown documentation, focusing on maintainability and operational clarity rather than bug fixes.
