Developed a self-serve Portfolio Domain Registry Entry for the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on domain management and web development using JSON. The work introduced domain metadata, repository links, and owner details, while initializing and updating CNAME records to ensure DNS readiness and reliable routing. By enriching owner records with contact emails, the solution improved domain discovery and management. Commit-level traceability was established to support transparent change tracking. This approach set a reusable pattern for onboarding new domains across projects, reducing manual DNS overhead and enhancing portfolio ownership clarity. The work emphasized maintainability and streamlined domain registration processes for future scalability.
