Khawa Lobsang Tsering contributed Tibetan translations to the KOReader User Guide within the koreader/koreaderhub.io.git repository, advancing localization efforts by translating 30 out of 1951 strings. Using the PO language format and leveraging Weblate for workflow management, Khawa ensured accurate attribution and traceable commits for future localization milestones. The work focused on internationalization (i18n), localization, and translation, laying the foundation for scalable multilingual support. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the contribution improved accessibility for Tibetan users and established a framework for ongoing progress tracking, reflecting a methodical approach to expanding KOReader’s language coverage.
