Kilariteja worked on the lightpanda-io/browser repository, delivering Data URI support within script tags to enhance browser interoperability. By implementing parsing and execution for both plain text and base64-encoded JavaScript in Data URIs, Kilariteja addressed fragmentation issues in script handling across environments. The technical approach involved updating MIME type parsing and refining the script execution flow to correctly process Data URIs, ensuring accurate handling of various encoding formats. This work leveraged skills in Zig, base64 decoding, and browser development, resulting in a focused, well-scoped feature that improved standards compliance without introducing unnecessary complexity or changes to unrelated browser components.
