Worked on backend reliability and maintainability for the infiniflow/ragflow repository, focusing on Python-based bug fixes and code refactoring. Addressed assertion error messages to improve clarity and corrected typographical errors, ensuring more accurate debugging information. Removed duplicate function definitions and redundant code paths in connection utilities and dialog services, which reduced confusion and the risk of runtime errors. These changes enhanced code hygiene and simplified future development by making the codebase easier to understand and maintain. The work supported faster onboarding for new developers and enabled more efficient iteration on future features, leveraging strong backend development and Python expertise.
