Worked on the XcodesOrg/homebrew-cask repository to deliver a reliability-focused upgrade for PrusaSlicer’s livecheck mechanism. The update aligned the version-checking process with the official download URL and introduced a simplified regex for release detection, reducing false positives and improving maintainability. Leveraging Ruby and expertise in package management and cask management, the work enhanced the automation that Homebrew users depend on for accurate updates. Collaborative engineering practices were demonstrated through co-authored commits, ensuring code quality and reviewability. The changes improved CI stability, reduced maintenance overhead, and established a clearer baseline for future enhancements within the Homebrew Cask tap.
