During January 2025, Kipouridis developed automated infrastructure-as-code capabilities for the microsoft/MicroHack repository, focusing on provisioning Oracle Data Guard on Azure IaaS. He designed and implemented Terraform scripts to enable reproducible deployment of Azure virtual machines and supporting resources, establishing a scalable foundation for disaster recovery readiness. His work included creating the directory structure and defining core Terraform resources, ensuring a consistent and automated environment provisioning process. Leveraging skills in Azure, DevOps, and Terraform, Kipouridis addressed the need for reliable, repeatable infrastructure setup, delivering a single feature that laid the groundwork for future enhancements without addressing bug fixes during this period.
