Worked on internationalization for the th-ch/youtube-music repository, delivering Estonian localization for the YouTube Music user interface. Focused on translating core UI strings, album actions, and ambient mode descriptions, reaching 33.3% completion with 152 out of 456 strings localized. Utilized JSON for translation files and leveraged Weblate to manage and track localization progress, establishing a workflow for ongoing i18n efforts. The work enhanced accessibility for Estonian-speaking users and laid the foundation for a fully localized experience. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding language support and improving the app’s front end localization infrastructure.
