Worked on the topilov/simulators-config repository to enhance simulator configuration management by introducing support for new device types and updating existing configurations, broadening the scope of simulation and testing. Applied disciplined configuration management and system administration practices to stabilize configuration flows and improve data processing paths, ensuring more reliable and maintainable code. Utilized Python and JSON to implement these changes, focusing on clean-code principles by removing dead code blocks and legacy feature toggles, which reduced technical debt and clarified configuration logic. Maintained repository hygiene through careful documentation and traceability, laying a foundation for expanded simulation capabilities and streamlined future development.
