Worked on the BitGoJS repository to deliver new features, streamline code, and enhance security over a four-month period. Built wallet listing optimizations by introducing an optional parameter to reduce payload size, improving performance for large datasets. Focused on backend development and API design using TypeScript and JavaScript, with thorough documentation and unit testing. Removed obsolete BLS and ETH2 components to reduce technical debt and stabilized the build system for smoother CI/CD. Upgraded cryptographic libraries and introduced EdDSA MPCv2 utilities, hardening security by minimizing sensitive data exposure. Emphasized maintainability, type safety, and test-driven development throughout all contributions.
Month: 2026-05 – Delivered security-focused, forward-compatible cryptographic tooling and maintenance for BitGoJS. Three primary outcomes: (1) Public-types library upgrade across modules from 6.9.0 to 6.17.0 and then to 6.21.0 to align with latest features, fixes, and improvements; (2) Added EdDSA MPCv2 SMC utilities for key generation and management with accompanying unit tests; (3) Hardened Eddsa v2 by removing walletGpgPubKeySigs from round 1 responses to reduce data exposure and surface area. These changes improve type safety, cryptographic tooling, and security posture, while enabling faster feature adoption and safer production deployments.

April 2025: Stabilized the BitGoJS build after removal of BLS and ETH2 SDKs; fixed a blocking build issue, cleaned up references across Dockerfile, CODEOWNERS, and README.md, and simplified sdk-core checks. Enabled smoother CI/CD and improved developer onboarding through documentation cleanup and consistent imports.

March 2025: BitGoJS codebase cleanup focused on removing obsolete BLS/ETH2 components to reduce technical debt and streamline future development. This work improves maintainability, reduces surface area for unintended changes, and supports faster onboarding and safer future refactors in subsequent sprints. No major bugs fixed this month; the primary value delivered is a cleaner, more understandable codebase with clearer ownership and documentation references, setting a solid baseline for upcoming work.
