During November 2024, Kite Bot focused on stabilizing the layer-3/clearsync repository by aligning operator proto definitions with the v0.0.122 underlying bindings. This work involved updating Protocol Buffers schemas and renaming fields and enum values to accurately represent channel status and notification semantics for clearing events, addressing proto-binding drift that could cause runtime issues. Using Go and gRPC, Kite Bot ensured that the API definitions matched the latest backend expectations, improving compatibility and reducing the risk of misinterpretation in downstream integrations. This update enhanced the reliability of future feature deployments and contributed to safer, more maintainable system evolution.
