During October 2025, Kim Kim integrated the WiFiAware framework into the facebook/buck2-prelude repository, expanding iOS platform support for Buck2-based builds. Kim updated the apple_framework_versions.bzl file using Starlark, carefully setting the minimum iPhone OS introduction version to enable WiFi Aware functionality on iOS devices. This work required precise build system configuration to ensure compatibility and maintain overall build stability while broadening the supported ecosystem.
