Developed a filterable search feature for the Cascader component in the Tencent/tdesign-miniprogram repository, focusing on enhancing user experience and developer usability. The work involved implementing case-insensitive matching with highlighted results, introducing new customizable props, and optimizing performance through input debouncing and state caching. UI stability was improved by refining content layout and ensuring consistent scrolling behavior within safe area constraints. Comprehensive updates were made to documentation, demos, and language pack coverage, with six new unit tests added. The project leveraged React, TypeScript, and CSS, demonstrating a methodical approach to front end development and UI/UX design within a collaborative workflow.
