Worked on the segmentio/action-destinations repository to enhance data reliability by addressing a critical bug in ISO-8601 timestamp parsing for Customer.io ingestion. Improved the backend by introducing a dedicated isIsoDate utility in TypeScript, expanding regular expressions to support up to nine fractional digits, and increasing test coverage to ensure robust date handling. Focused on API integration and thorough testing, the changes reduced ingestion errors and improved data quality, supporting more reliable downstream analytics. All updates were carefully documented and linked to relevant tickets, providing clear traceability and maintaining high standards for code quality and maintainability throughout the development process.
