Worked on stabilizing the core editing workflows in the gridsuite/gridstudy-app repository by addressing a critical bug affecting subtree operations. Focused on front end development using React and JavaScript, the main contribution involved resolving an issue where pasting a subtree into itself could trigger infinite loops and potential data corruption. The technical approach included careful bug triage, git patching, and thorough code review to ensure robust prevention of these errors. This work improved data integrity and reliability for users, reduced the risk of crashes or data loss, and contributed to a more maintainable codebase through disciplined commit practices and review.
