Worked on enhancing Russian localization for the HabitRPG/habitica repository, focusing on achievement-related strings to improve clarity and accuracy for Russian-speaking users. Utilized JSON and Weblate to deliver precise translations, correct grammar, and refine currency phrasing, such as updating terms for better readability and cultural alignment. The approach emphasized traceable, incremental updates that directly support the project’s internationalization goals and user engagement in non-English markets. By concentrating on localization, the work contributed to a more accessible and user-friendly experience for Russian players, addressing both linguistic accuracy and the nuances of in-game terminology within the existing codebase.
