Worked on stabilizing and simplifying Kubernetes deployment automation within the softwareone-platform/optscale repository, focusing on infrastructure reliability. Addressed maintenance overhead by removing obsolete CoreDNS tasks related to the dts.loc domain from the Ansible deployment workflow. This targeted cleanup, implemented using Ansible and YAML, reduced the risk of DNS-related misconfigurations while preserving all essential Kubernetes configuration steps. Collaborated cross-functionally, including co-authored contributions with Jenkins integration, to ensure deployment workflows remained robust and regression-free. The work emphasized careful code maintenance and operational efficiency, resulting in faster, more reliable deployments and a streamlined codebase. Primary technologies included Ansible, Kubernetes, and Shell scripting.
