Worked on enhancing test infrastructure and profiling capabilities across ROCm/rocprofiler-compute and ROCm/rocm-systems repositories. Delivered a configurable CPU thread count and verbose reporting for analysis tests, updating CMakeLists.txt to improve test observability and debugging efficiency in both CI and local development. Leveraged CMake and Python to centralize test configuration, enabling reproducible and detailed test reporting. Additionally, enabled kernel-level tracing for performance counter sampling by configuring ROCPROF_KERNEL_TRACE=1, which improved profiling fidelity and laid the groundwork for future optimizations. Focused on build system configuration, testing, and performance profiling, with an emphasis on system optimization and traceability.
