Worked on the openshift-pipelines/pipelines-as-code repository to enhance logging clarity and streamline test maintenance. Focused on backend and API development using Go, the work involved downgrading 404 API responses from error to debug level, which reduced unnecessary log noise for expected missing resources. Refactored the test suite by removing duplication and adopting a table-driven approach, improving maintainability and aligning with linting and pre-commit standards. All changes were thoroughly documented and implemented to address a specific issue, ensuring the codebase remains clean and easier to manage. The work emphasized robust testing practices and adherence to modern development workflows.
