During November 2025, Knofafo developed the Puppet Autosign Entry Management feature for the SatelliteQE/nailgun repository, focusing on automating host onboarding in scalable Puppet environments. They implemented add and delete methods for managing entries in the puppetserver’s autosign file, reducing manual intervention and minimizing onboarding errors. The work emphasized robust backend development and maintainability, leveraging Python for API development and comprehensive unit testing. Knofafo collaborated across teams and maintained clear documentation throughout the process. Although no critical bugs were addressed during this period, the delivered feature demonstrated depth in automation engineering and improved the reliability of host registration workflows.
