Worked on the chatwoot/chatwoot repository, focusing on front end development with Vue.js and JavaScript. Addressed a critical bug in the Contacts List by correcting country mapping logic, specifically resolving an issue where Zimbabwe could be incorrectly selected due to missing code properties in the countries.json data. The solution involved updating the data structure to ensure accurate country representation for all contacts. Validated the fix locally against the Vue frontend and live API, confirming that all unit tests passed and no regressions were introduced. Maintained code quality by adhering to style guidelines, adding comments, and reviewing changes for clarity and maintainability.
