Developed proxy configuration support for the GoodData Python SDK API client, enabling enterprise users to connect through HTTP and HTTPS proxies in restricted network environments. The implementation allowed proxy settings to be specified either directly or via standard environment variables, ensuring flexibility and ease of integration. Care was taken to maintain backward compatibility with existing configuration flows, minimizing disruption for current users. Work was delivered in the gooddata/gooddata-python-sdk repository, leveraging Python for API development, environment configuration, and unit testing. This feature addressed a key networking requirement, streamlining access for organizations with strict proxy policies and enhancing the SDK’s adaptability.
