Worked on stabilizing type definitions in the grafana/k6-DefinitelyTyped repository, focusing on improving type safety for chessboard-related scripts. Addressed a critical bug in the Chessboard.js Square Enum by correcting the mapping of squares g8 through g1 to their proper row numbers, eliminating a previous duplication of the g7 value. This fix enhanced the accuracy of type checking and reduced the risk of downstream errors for users relying on these definitions. Utilized TypeScript and deep knowledge of type definitions to ensure maintainability and precision, contributing to a more robust type system for the k6-DefinitelyTyped ecosystem during the project period.
