Developed and delivered a Hungarian keyboard layout for the Koreader virtual keyboard in the koreader/koreader repository, focusing on frontend development and UI/UX design using Lua. The work involved extending the existing English layout by integrating Hungarian characters, carefully adjusting key positions and sizes to enhance usability for native speakers. The new layout was registered and made selectable within the virtual keyboard widget, broadening internationalization support and improving the user experience on embedded devices. This contribution addressed the specific needs of Hungarian users, reducing friction and making text input more accessible, while demonstrating attention to detail in interface design and localization.
