Leveraging expertise in build systems and RPM packaging, Horimoto updated the source RPM URL for 8.0-compatible releases and corrected the base URL for Percona Server 5.1 on RHEL6, using Specfile and spec languages. This work restored proper download and dependency resolution across multiple platforms, reducing installation failures and support incidents. The changes demonstrated careful cross-version compatibility testing and attention to repository structure, resulting in smoother onboarding and upgrade experiences for users.
