During December 2024, Kompastver developed a Helm-driven solution for the robusta-dev/robusta repository, enabling users to configure Kubernetes Service annotations directly through values.yaml. By leveraging DevOps practices and expertise in Helm and Kubernetes, Kompastver implemented a feature that allows tailored metadata and behavior for the robusta runner service, reducing the need for manual configuration and improving deployment consistency. The work focused on enhancing Kubernetes integration by making service annotations fully customizable, which streamlines user workflows and supports more flexible deployments. This contribution demonstrated a focused application of yaml and Helm templating, delivering a targeted improvement within a short timeframe.
