Worked on the TUM-Dev/gocast repository to enhance authentication reliability and streamline maintenance workflows. Addressed a robustness issue in the SAML authentication flow by correcting error handling during form parsing, which prevented bad requests from causing unexpected behavior in production. Automated dependency management across Go modules, Docker images, and npm packages by migrating update workflows from Dependabot to Renovate, while maintaining weekly updates for Docker and GitHub Actions. Leveraged Go and YAML to implement these improvements, focusing on backend development, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. These changes reduced manual intervention, improved security posture, and increased the predictability of release cycles.
