During January 2025, Kornys upgraded the Trivy vulnerability scanner to version 0.59.0 within the RedHatProductSecurity/rapidast repository, focusing on enhancing the container build process. This work involved updating shell and YAML configuration files to accommodate new CLI parameters and ensuring that end-to-end tests reflected the latest scanner behavior. By aligning the build, test, and release stages with the updated Trivy version, Kornys improved the accuracy and reliability of vulnerability detection while maintaining CI/CD stability. The project leveraged skills in containerization, DevOps, and security scanning, demonstrating a methodical approach to integrating security tooling into automated deployment pipelines.
