Worked on the elastic/eui repository to enhance the user experience of date-related workflows by optimizing the EuiSuperDatePicker component. Focused on reducing unnecessary re-renders when toggling the isQuickSelectOnly option for absolute dates, the changes improved performance and responsiveness. Introduced a delimiter prop to EuiDatePickerRange, enabling greater UI customization and consistency across date picker interfaces. Addressed a targeted bug where toggling isQuickSelectOnly previously triggered full re-renders, streamlining the component’s behavior. All updates were implemented using React with TypeScript and tsx, demonstrating a strong grasp of component development and frontend optimization within a modern JavaScript codebase.
