Worked on the openbraininstitute/aws-terraform-deployment repository to enhance stability and configuration consistency for Keycloak integration within AWS infrastructure. Focused on aligning environment variable naming across Terraform and core application workflows, the work involved renaming the KEYCLOAK_ISSUER variable to NEXT_PUBLIC_KEYCLOAK_ISSUER and then rolling back the change to prevent misconfiguration in production. This approach prioritized risk reduction and configuration hygiene, ensuring reliable deployment pipelines. Utilized skills in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Terraform, with HCL as the primary language. All changes were documented and referenced for traceability, supporting future maintenance and safeguarding the deployment process against configuration drift.
