Worked on the prebid/prebid-server-java repository to deliver Ogury Bidder In-App Traffic Enablement, expanding support for in-app inventory within the AdTech ecosystem. Focused on backend development using Java and YAML, the work involved refining request validation logic to accurately distinguish between site requests containing only a publisher ID and app requests requiring assetKey or adUnitId. This approach improved routing reliability and reduced the risk of misrouting. Comprehensive tests were added to ensure robust handling of diverse request types, aligning with OpenRTB standards. The changes enhanced operator confidence and supported the roadmap for in-app traffic enablement without introducing new bugs.
